Depart Marsh Harbour
Your journey begins at the heart of the Abacos. After a warm welcome from your captain and crew, we’ll leave the bustle of Marsh Harbour behind. Feel the first sea breeze as we navigate toward a nearby tranquil anchorage. Enjoy a sunset cocktail on deck as you settle into the rhythm of the islands.
Hope Town lighthouse & beaches
We make landfall at Elbow Cay to visit the world-famous Hope Town. Climb the 101 steps of the historic candy-striped lighthouse for a panoramic view of the Sea of Abaco. Spend your afternoon lounging on the pristine Atlantic-side beaches or golf-carting through the quaint, flowering streets of the village.
Man-O-War Cay exploration
Step back in time at Man-O-War Cay, a peaceful settlement known for its rich maritime history. Watch local craftsmen at work in the canvas shop and explore the narrow, "no-car" paths of this meticulous village. It’s the perfect spot to pick up a handcrafted souvenir before we find a quiet cove for the evening.
Snorkeling at Fowl Cay
Today is all about the water. We’ll anchor at the Fowl Cay Government Preserve, a protected marine park. Dive into crystal-clear waters to explore vibrant coral gardens teeming with tropical fish, sea turtles, and eagle rays. After your underwater adventure, enjoy a fresh lunch on deck in the midday sun.
Green Turtle Cay village visit
We head north to the loyalist settlement of New Plymouth on Green Turtle Cay. Immerse yourself in the colonial architecture and local history at the Albert Lowe Museum, or simply enjoy a world-famous "Goombay Smash" at Miss Emily’s Blue Bee Bar. This is island living at its most authentic.
Hidden sandbars & sunset anchorage
We save the best for last, navigating to the most secluded corners of the Abacos. Walk along disappearing sandbars that only reveal themselves at low tide, and spend your final full day swimming in water so clear it looks like glass. Your final evening features a celebratory dinner at anchor under a canopy of stars.
Return to Marsh Harbour
Savor one last breakfast on the water and a final dip in the sea as we leisurely cruise back to Marsh Harbour. You’ll depart with sun-kissed skin and the beginning of a new favorite tradition, already planning your return to these turquoise shores.

Abacos Yacht Charter FAQs
How many guests can stay aboard Tradition?
Tradition comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. The yacht features three private, air-conditioned cabins, each designed for maximum comfort and privacy, making it a perfect fit for three couples, a family, or a close-knit group of friends.
What isn’t included in the $25,000 charter?
While the base rate covers the yacht and your professional crew, the following are handled as additional costs to allow for a fully customized experience: Provisions and beverages tailored to your palate, fuel and dockage based on your specific cruising route, local cruising taxes/park fees, and the customary crew gratuity (typically 15–20%) for the exceptional service provided throughout your stay.
Do I need sailing experience?
Not at all. This is a fully crewed experience, meaning your professional captain handles all navigation, anchoring, and boat systems. While you are more than welcome to take the helm or learn the ropes if you’re curious, your only true responsibility is to relax and enjoy the rhythm of the islands.
What airports serve the Abacos?
Most guests fly into Leonard M. Thompson International Airport (MHH) in Marsh Harbour, which is the primary gateway for our charters. Alternatively, Treasure Cay International Airport (TCB) serves the northern cays. Many travelers find easy connections through Nassau (NAS), Miami (MIA), or Fort Lauderdale (FLL) for the short hop over to the islands.
When is the best time to charter in the Bahamas?
The premier window for an Abaco charter is from March through June. During these months, you’ll find the most consistent sailing breezes and comfortable temperatures in the high 70s and low 80s. By June, the water is exceptionally warm and the seas are often like glass—perfect for snorkeling the vibrant reefs at Fowl Cay.
